I've created all trailers for the game and this is the release trailer. It's recorded in-engine and features mostly gameplay capture, but also some cinematic scenes created using custom tools I developed specifically for the game.
For the announcement trailer, we wanted to communicate the decoration gameplay without relying on UI, since the UI was not yet finished. To achieve this, I built an animation component on top of existing game code that could place, color and rotate objects without player input.
